Holy Waters

The theme of water as a rite of passage in which human and artificial dive in a flow of distortions, resonances and reflection to reemerge as an organic reality, part of the whole, a link; this is a sacred well in the land of analogue and digital, a representation of the point of contact between two worlds.
“Holy Water” is an interactive installation in which, through water touch, an immersive and evocative experience can be activated. Playing with it as an instrument to compose sounds and incredible patterns on liquids, we can engage with the environment and with these elements from a new perspective.
Each container has a loudspeaker underneath which plays different frequencies when touched through the water, and instant feedback in a larger loudspeaker in the centre of the installation reproduced live the compositions made by the public.

Made in collaboration with the artist and sound designer Giorgio Sandrone.
